A slew of recent evidence and rare US and international patents have accelerated research on one of the body's chief defenses against illness, the essential, yet little-known protein, glutathione (GSH). Medical patents for natural health interventions are few and far between in the world of chemically-based drugs. 'In the next five or six years, people are going to be using the word glutathione as commonly as they use the word vitamin C or antioxidant,' says Dr. Jimmy Gutman, a Montreal-based physician and author of 'GSH, Your Body's Most Powerful Protector, Glutathione'.

'Glutathione is virtually involved in dozens of critical cell processes and without it we would succumb to our environment literally within hours,' says Gutman. Many researchers studying ways to promote immune system health believe the presence of glutathione in your body is critical for a strong immune system and the body's defense against a disease, bacteria, and infection.

For years supplement companies have been providing the micro-nutrient glutathione - it is expensive and while we believe some benefit is derived from taking it, there has always been some concern the molecule was too large and supplementing by mouth might not be the most effective method.  In recent years research has proven there are more effective ways to improve glutathione production by stimulating certain micro-nutrient pathways.  The mighty four is what some call it but together these micro-nutrients in higher potencies have been proven to stimulate glutathione levels naturally within the human body:
  • Grape Seed Extract
  • Glutamine
  • Quercetin
  • Colostrum

EVEREST Earth & Sea Formula contains all 4 of these micro-nutrients at the required strengths and supports a strong and healthier immune system.
